Re-live Wales’ Euro 2016 qualifying campaign

Euro 2016 Qualifying

Euro 2020 may have been postponed until 2021 because of the Covid-19 pandemic but Welsh fans can now re-live all the action from the incredible Euro 2016 qualifying campaign thanks to the Football Association of Wales.

The FAW is holding a complete re-run of Wales’ Euro 2016 qualifying campaign over the next five weeks, starting today… Wednesday, 25 March.

All 10 qualifying-round matches will air free-of-charge on the FAW Facebook page, with the Twitter feed also providing as-live updates for fans unable to tune in.

The FAW hopes the re-runs will provide some light relief during these challenging times, with matches going to air in campaign order at 19.30 every Wednesday and 15.00 every Saturday.

Kicking the action off is Wales’ trip to Andorra, which originally took place on 9 September 2014.

For the campaign Wales were drawn in Group B… alongside Andorra, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, and Israel.

As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic all domestic football in Wales has been suspended until at least Thursday, 30 April 2020.
