The fixtures for the first phase of the Cymru Premier season have been released ahead of the start of the top-flight campaign on 12 September 2020.

Champions Connah’s Quay Nomads, who took the crown for the first time in their history last season following the premature end to the campaign because of the coronavirus crisis, will begin their challenge for a second title with a tough home game against Bala Town in a match that will be covered live on S4C’s Sgorio programme (17.45 kick-off).

League newcomers Haverfordwest County and Flint Town United start their season with home fixtures against Cefn Druids and Newtown respectively.

The opening showdown between last season’s top two will be at Park Hall on 13 October, when The New Saints host the Nomads for the first time since Andy Morrison’s men secured the trophy, taking the title away away from the Saints for the first time in eight seasons.

Following the completion of the opening phase at the end of January, the league will split into the Championship and Playoff Conference.

Haverfordwest, who secured promotion from the Cymru South last season, will feature live on S4C on 19 September when they host Newtown at Bridge Meadow (17.45 kick-off). While Flint Town United get their first taste in front of the live cameras when they host Barry Town United at the Essity Stadium on 26 September (17.45 kick-off).

With Dylan Ebenezer at the helm and Nicky John pitch-side, the Sgorio team will also feature former internationals Malcolm Allen and Owain Tudur Jones, while former Cymru Premier managers Mark Jones and Tomi Morgan will provide English-language commentary via the red button.
